We’ve had a few suggestions for upcoming shindigs and would love to hear more. To date, we’ve been asked about re-screening The Guild or Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and the possibility of a Firefly themed costume party/dance. What other types of things would you like to see us do this year?
On the radar:
- 2012 – Booth at the Pure Speculation Festival
- 2013 – Booth at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo
- 2013 – AB Browncoats team in the Yess.org Homeless for a Night fundraiser
Yes a Party Dance like I’ve heard happening down in the states would be awesome =D
Maybe a random firefly/serenity flashmob?
A dinner party somewhere perhaps?
Keep your eyes peeled. Hope to have something to announce post Edmonton Expo.
Also hoping it’ll be the first of many regular gatherings 😉
It’s time for a Shindig!
Don your best flowery bonnet, grab your rainstick and join us for our first meet and greet. Listen to shiny music, partake in the Kaylee inspired buffet (nibbles), win a door prize and make new friends.
Join us Saturday, Nov 17 at the Alberta Place Suite Hotel (10049-103 St). Doors open at 7:30pm.
Admission $5*
*Funds raised will defray the cost of the event. Any additional proceeds will be donated to the Edmonton Youth Empowerment Support Services (YESS).All minors should be accompanied by parent or guardian.
